Solution 01: Delete some temporary files and restart the Valorant game:
In this solution, I will guide you to delete some temporary files of the Valorant game. Don’t worry these files will be recreated by the game when we will start it again next time. Follow these steps to delete those files:
01: Press “Window+R” OR click on the Start menu and search for “Run” and press Enter.
02: Type “%localappdata%”in the search box and click OK.
03: Scroll down and search for the “Valorant” folder and delete it.
04: Search for the “Riot Games” folder and double-click to open it.
05: There will be another folder named “Valorant”. Delete this folder.
06: Close this Window and go to the Desktop Screen.
07: Right-click on the “Valorant icon” and select “Open file location”.
08: From the Address bar, click on “Riot Games”.
09: Open the “Valorant” folder.
10: Double-click the “live” folder.
11: Delete two files named “Manifest_DebugFiles_Win64” and “Manifest_NonUFSFiles_Win64”.
12: Restart the Valorant game.
In this way, you will be able to play the Valorant game without getting stuck on the loading screen. If this solution doesn’t work for you, then follow Solution 02.
Solution 02: Apply 3 easy steps to fix the issue:
This solution consists of 3 easy steps. Applying these steps will solve the issue of Valorant getting stuck on the loading screen. The steps are given below:
- Uninstall Riot Vanguard
- Give High-Performance priority to Valorant
- Set the Priority of Valorant to real-time in Task Manager
Step i: Uninstall Riot Vanguard:
You don’t need to re-install Riot Vanguard after uninstalling. Because whenever you will start the Valorant game, this will get installed. To uninstall Riot Vanguard, follow these steps:
01: Press the Window key.
02: Search for “Add or Remove Program” and open it.
03: Search for Riot Vanguard and right-click on it and select Uninstall.
04: A prompt will appear, click on OK to uninstall the program.
05: Open Valorant and wait for Riot Vanguard to get installed. Don’t play the game.
06: When Riot Vanguard gets installed, close the Valorant game and Restart your PC.
If you don’t restart the PC, the Valorant game will give the error. When PC gets restarted, implement Step ii.
Step ii: Give High-Performance priority to Valorant:
To give high-performance priority to the Valorant game, follow these steps:
01: Open Settings of your PC.
02: In the search bar enter “Graphics Settings” and open it.
03: Under “Graphics Performance Preferences”, click on the Browse button.
04: Go to the folder, where you have installed the Valorant game, and Add the Valorant game.
05: Also, open the ShooterGame folder as shown in the upper picture, then open binaries, and then open the Win64 folder.
06: Select and Add the “Valorant-Win64-Shipping” Application.
07: Now, click on the added icons one-by-one and click on Options.
08: Save the Graphics Preference to High Performance for both added applications.
After applying all the Steps, move to Step iii.
Step iii: Set the Priority of Valorant to real-time in Task Manager:
01: Open the Valorant game but don’t play the game.
02: Press the Window key and open Task Manager.
03: Under the Processes Tab, click on Valorant to expand. Then from the drop-down menu, right-click on Valorant and select “Go to details”.
04: Now under the detail tab, right-click on “Valorant-Win64-Shipping.exe” and Set Priority to Realtime.
05: Apply the same step (04) for Valorant.exe.
Now close the task manager and open the Valorant game and enjoy playing the game without any issues.
