You can install plugins to add new features to your site.

In this article, I will teach you How to INSTALL plugins in WordPress. plugins add to a website via the plugin’s menu in the WordPress dashboard. To install a plugin in WordPress there are two methods. The first method is to install the plugin using the search from the WordPress dashboard. GO to WordPress Dashboard, and then go to “Plugins” and click “Add New”.

So, the search bar appears on the top-right. Search for the plugin which you want and click on the “Install Now” button your plugin Is installed but not active so again click on the “active” button so that your plugin is installed.

2. Let’s look at the 2nd method of installing a plugin in WordPress. The 2nd method is uploading the plugin in a Zip file. Sometimes you might download/receive a plugin in a zip file. For example, when you buy a premium plugin you’re likely to get the plugin in a zip file. Now in order to install this plugin on your WordPress site. You need to upload a zip file in WordPress. To upload this plugin let’s to the WordPress dashboard and then go to “plugin” and click “Add New”.

 So, the “Upload Plugin” bar appears on the top-left. Click upload plugin and choose zip file. The install now button Is active click and install the plugin. Again, click the “Activate Plugin” button. And as you can see the plugin is now active.
